Credit cards are a necessary evil. There is a system, so fucking work it.
I dropped my laptop– again.
I dropped it, and it still works. It still works. I can’t believe it.
Two drops, from 4 feet, onto a corner, and the worst thing that happened is that it got dented.

things i learned last year
Here’s a list of things that I learned in 2005. Leave comments and I’ll elaborate:
- RAID is only as good as your drives
- VPN is a pain in the butt
- Give people what they want, not what they ask for
- More gear doesn’t equal better pictures
- Technical difficulty usually produces better images
- Present options, not opinions
- Love your family and friends
- Physical activity is good for you
- Physical pain is the subsititute for emotionial pain
- The inmates are running the asylum.

I have completed the impossible task– I have cleaned our bathroom.
All of it.
The tub, the shower walls, the window, the sink, the mirror, the floor, the bathmat, the handtowel, and the toilet. Even behind the toilet!
Take that bachelor bathroom!
