About

As a native Rhode Islander that refused to ignore the letter R in random words, I never fit in completely. 

As a kid always observing and watching, interactions and connections interested me. I’d watch how adults acted, how teachers interacted, how waiters at restaurants talked to each other. I’d watch the things going on around me. 

A few years later- thanks to a film camera, a few years of art school, and travel, I’ve photographed people and locations, some random and candid, some planned and precise. 

Traveling and taking photographs inspires me to become the outsider that I was when I was a kid – to see something for the first time and capture it. I’d consider any photograph that relays a feeling to the viewer successful.

My photography is glorified documentation – in some cases I might embellish slightly, but my goal is to document the feeling, if not the exact look of the moment.
